Timothy D. Queen is in his second year as the Head Cheerleading Coach at Kentucky State University.
Queen coached at South Atlanta High School, where he turned around the program and is now an award-winning cheer program.
In recent years, he was asked to become a member of the Universal Cheerleading Association, National Cheerleading Association, and Georgia High School Athletic Association Inaugural Committee for Competitive Cheer. This committee laid the ground work to begin Competitive Cheer as a sanctioned sport for squads in the State of Georgia.
He has been a Coaches and Advisors Trainer for Universal Cheerleaders Association, and an ACCAA Safety Certifier. He has served as a member of the College Cheerleading Advisory Board for both the Universal Cheerleaders Association and the National Cheerleaders Association.
Queen has been a GHSAA Competitive Cheer Judge and has judged many National High School Cheerleading Championships.
A native of Natchez, Mississippi, he started his cheering career in high school where he cheered and was the mascot at Natchez High School. Upon graduation, Queen cheered at Alcorn State University from 2002 to 2005, where he was the captain his senior year.
He is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
