JACKSON, Tenn. – Despite a deadlocked first quarter, Lane established a double-digit second quarter lead to defeat Kentucky State women's basketball 74-48 Wednesday in Jackson, Tennessee.

Morganne Postell led all scorers with 17 points.
Turnovers were costly for the Thorobreds as the Dragons scored 29 points on 28 Kentucky State turnovers. Lane's bench outscored the Thorobreds reserves 33-9.
The first quarter ended with both teams deadlocked at 11-11. Lane found their rhythm in the second quarter taking a double digit 35-24 lead going into halftime. The Dragons continued to outscore in second half to defeat the Thorobreds 74-48.
