ALBANY, Ga. – In the final day of the SIAC Crossover, Kentucky State women's fell 3-0 to Albany State and 3-1 against Savannah State, Friday in Albany, Georgia.
 
Match 1: Kentucky State 0, Albany State 3
The Thorobreds were outpaced 3-0 (12-25, 13-25, 11-25) by the Golden Rams, Friday morning at the SIAC Crossover.
 
Match Highlights

• Ananiah Huguely led the offensive effort for the Thorobreds with five kills while adding a service ace. Laila Wheaton and Cydne Clayton chipped in win with four kills apiece.
• Jayla Collins, Leah Tubbs and Sydney Shelby each tallied a solo block to anchor the KSU defense.

 
Match 2: Kentucky State 1, Savannah State 3
Kentucky State closed out their SIAC Crossover schedule with a 3-1 (24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 16-25) loss to Savannah State.
 
Match Highlights

• Wheaton led had a standout performance, finishing with 11 kills on a .688 hitting percentage while adding eight total blocks. Destiny Rogers had a season high of six blocks during the match.
• The Thorobreds collected nine aces, led by three each from Wheaton and Huguely.
• Gregory continued to guide the offense effort with 23 assists and nine digs, while Sienna Stewart added 16 assists and five digs.
