MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill Badgers took both games of the opening doubleheader against Kentucky State Baseball Saturday in Mobile, Alabama.
In the first game of the doubleheader the Badgers scored six runs in the second and fourth innings, while scoring one run fifth to win the first game 13-0 in seven innings.
The Thorobreds scored the first run of game two scoring on error from the Badgers in the second inning. Spring Hill followed scoring nine runs through five innings before
Bakari Rush added a run for Kentucky State. Following an additional four runs by Spring Hill in the fifth Kentucky State scored the final run on an error, but went on to fall 13-3.
ON DECK
Game three of the series is set for tomorrow, March 23 at 1 p.m. CT at Sims-Galle Field.
