MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After securing back-to-back home wins, the Kentucky State women's basketball team looks to maintain its momentum on the road against LeMoyne-Owen on Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Thorobreds (7-12, 6-7 SIAC) edged LeMoyne-Owen 64-61 on Jan. 27 and followed with a 51-47 victory over Central State on Feb. 1. In the win over Central State, senior guard
Mondrea Williams posted a double-double with 17 rebounds and 12 points, while junior forward
Khalia Bryant added a double-double of her own with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Kentucky State holds a slight edge in the all-time series, leading 14-13 after its win over the Magicians earlier this season.
LeMoyne-Owen (6-16, 2-11 SIAC) ended a three-game skid with a 52-44 road win at Rust. Before facing Kentucky State, the Magicians will host Central State on Feb. 8.
