MOBILE, Ala. – Kentucky State women's volleyball heads to Mobile, Alabama for the SIAC Volleyball Cluster on Oct. 4th and 5th. On Friday, the Thorobreds will meet Miles (0-9, 0-4 SIAC) at noon and Tuskegee (4-5, 1-3 SIAC) at 5 p.m. The Cluster will end on Sunday to host Spring Hill (5-7, 4-0 SIAC).
 
The Thorobreds are entering the Cluster after 1-3 finish at the SIAC East and West Crossover where they picked up a 3-2 win over Fort Valley State. Against Savannah State and Allen, the Thorobreds forced five sets but would fall 3-2. A standout performance of 93 assists during the weekend and a season high of 30 against Savannah State combined with seven aces and 26 digs earned Senior Amber Gregory SIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week Honors.
 
At noon on Friday (Oct. 4), Kentucky State will meet a winless Miles, who have only won one set in conference play. In their final match of the day the Thorobreds will face Tuskegee at 5 p.m., at the SIAC Crossover the Golden Tigers earned a 3-0 sweep against Savannah State.
 
On Saturday (Oct. 5), the Cluster will close to Spring Hill at 2 p.m. The Badgers have swept the four conference opponents met at the crossover.
