ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) named Dontavius Broadnax week three SIAC Football Defensive Player of the Week.
 
During the Thorobreds contest at Allen (9/16/23) Broadnax shined. He led the Thorobreds with seven solo tackles that included one sack along with four tackles for a loss of 22 yards.
 
Broadnax opened the second quarter recovered a blocked punt and returned it for 55 yards for a touchdown. He followed with the interception of David Wrights pass that led to a 20 yard pick-six late in the second quarter.
 
Broadnax and the Thorobreds will return to play at home as they host the Fort Valley State Wildcats on Saturday, September 23 at 1 p.m. inside Alumni Stadium.
