ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced the 2021-22 Commissioner's All-Academic Team and the SIAC All-Academic Team.
 
Student-athletes with a 3.2 or higher were considered for all-academic team honors. The number of student-athletes selected in each sport is determined by the number of positions usually involved in that sport.
 
Kentucky State led the SIAC All-Academic Teams with four teams earning team honors, women's volleyball at 3.91, women's basketball at 3.88, men's volleyball at 3.85, and baseball co-leading with Benedict as both teams earned a 3.98.
 
Nine Thorobreds were named to the SIAC All-Academic, Emery Bryant (football), Keyara Brooks (women's volleyball), Anthony Vascotto (men's golf), Jared Southerland (men's golf), Naja Fenelon (women's basketball), Kimberly Lugg (women's track), Kade Andruski (men's volleyball), Donavyn Mosley (men's volleyball), Kaden Okin (men's volleyball), and 2022 KSU Valedictorian Olivia Saylor (softball).
 
11 Thorobreds earned 4.0 GPAs, John Etheridge, Collier Higgs, Andrew Schank, Kimberly Lugg, Kade Andruski, Saylor, Fenelon, Bryant, Mosley, and Brooks.
