VICKSBURG, Miss. – Softball completes 2022 Red River Classic against three Division I Softball programs, Alcorn State, Jackson State and Grambling State.
Game 1: Kentucky State 0 Alcorn 13, 7th Inning
Kentucky State fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-0 loss to Lady Braves on Thursday.
Tanisha Valdez singled in the third inning.
Kendall Collier took the loss for the Thorobreds surrendering 13 runs on 12 hits over four innings, striking out one.
Brooklyn Black went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Kentucky State University Thorobreds Varsity in hits.
Game 2: Kentucky State 1 Jackson State 9, 6th Inning
Collier led things off in the circle for the Thorobreds surrendering six runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Imani Reed threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Aaliyah Yates all had one hit to lead Kentucky State University Thorobreds Varsity.
Game 3: Kentucky State 7 Grambling State 13, 7th Inning
Kentucky State collected six hits in the high-scoring affair.
Kentucky State tallied five runs in the fifth inning.

Kailen Olison each drove in runs during the inning.
Collier led things off in the pitcher's circle for Kentucky State, the righty allowed 14 hits and 13 runs over six innings, striking out four.
Olivia Saylor went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Kentucky State in hits.
Game 3: Kentucky State 3 Grambling State 8, 7th Inning
Kendall Collier led things off on the rubber for Kentucky State, Collier lasted seven innings, allowing 12 hits and eight runs while striking out one.
Arianna Hill led Kentucky State with two hits in three at bats. Kentucky State was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
Moana Pinner had the most chances in the field with five.
