FRANKFORT, Ky.-Kentucky State women's volleyball team looks to start their first road trip of the season against the Dragons of Lane College Sept. 9, at 5:30 pm EST at J F Lane Gymnasium.
The Thorobreds won their previous match up against Maryville University in a score of 3-2 in the last game of the KSU Invitational.
Kentucky State will look to carry their momentum after outlasting the Saints in a five-set thriller that came down to the wire late.
Tinoi Martin and
Robin Poole led the way for them earning nine and thirteen kills respectively.

SIAC Honors After leading the Thorobreds with 64 assists along with earning 16 kills Brooks earned SIAC Setter of the Week. A few Thorobreds earned nominations in other categories, Poole Offensive Player of the Week, Roberts Defensive Player of the Week and Jordan Newcomer of the Week.
Matchup Glance Since 2011, the Thorobreds have swept the Dragons holding a 18 game win streak. In their last matchup, Kentucky State defeated Lane 3-0 in 2019.
