NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Kentucky State softball team dropped both games of a double header at host Walsh University. The Thorobreds fell 8-0 in the first contest and 9-1 in the final contest.
The Thorobreds opened play to the Walsh Cavaliers with an 8-0 loss.
In the second contest, Sophomore
Olivia Saylor singled in the third inning to allow Junior
Rosemary Rodriguez to run across home plate and shorten the Cavaliers lead to 2-1 at the top of the third.
The Cavaliers late surge allowed them to defeat the Thorobreds 9-1.
