FRANKFORT, KY – The Kentucky State women's basketball team falls 46-59 against Miles College in Friday's contest. 
 
The Thorobreds opened the first quarter neck and neck, with the Bears taking the advantage by just one point, winning the quarter 12-11. 
 
The Bears lead the Thorobreds 14-11 at the end of the second quarter and a 26-22 lead at the half. 
 
Returning from the half, the Thorobreds increased in scoring but fell 12-16 in the third. 
 
The Thorbreds dropped in the fourth quarter 17-12, and the Thorobreds fell at the end of regulation 46-59. 
 
Senior Lyndsey Downing led her team with 16 points while earning four rebounds. 
 
Junior Sarah Woghiren earned a double-double in tonight's contest with 10 points and ten rebounds.

The road series will come to end as the Thorobreds play Saturday, February 27 at 2 p.m. ET.
