Taleah Dilworth led the Thorobreds with 11 points against the University of South Carolina Aiken in Aiken, South Carolina.
A 12-0 run gave the Pacers a 20-8 lead led by Aiken's Allycia Harris with 6 points.
In the second quarter, KSU went on a 7-0 run, and lay up by
Laurie Thomas put Kentucky State within ten (15-24) with 5:17 remaining in the second quarter.
Kentucky State outscored Aiken 11-10 in the second quarter and went into halftime trailing the Pacers 30-19.
The third quarter opened with a Kentucky State 5-0 run that closed on the 27-38 Aiken lead. At the end of the third quarter, the Thorobreds would trail 28-48.
Aiken would maintain control in the fourth quarter and a 70-40 win.
