FRANKFORT, Ky. – Homecoming is back on The Hill as the Kentucky State Thorobreds host the Lane Dragons on Saturday, October 9 at 2 p.m. inside Alumni Stadium in Frankfort, Kentucky.
 
LOSSES INTO WINS
In their second league contest, the Thorobreds fell 21-17 to the Savannah State Tigers. There were many positive takeaways in this contest; the Kentucky State offense led the stat sheet with 392 total offensive yards (323 rushing / 69 passing) while the Thorobreds held the Tigers to just 212 total offensive yards (141 rushing / 71 passing). Artest Banks would force two fumbles, two tackles for a loss of 19 yards, along with one sack and one pass breakup.
 
SERIES AT GLANCE
The Thorobreds last met at Lane on October 19, 2019, defeating the Dragons 40-20. Since October 1998, the Thorobreds hold the advantage 12-11 and are split 5-5 out of the last ten matchups.
 
TICKETS
Tickets are available for purchase at www.ksuthorobreds.com/tickets, general admission tickets are $25, and reserved seats are $35. It is encouraged that all spectators buy their tickets prior to arrival at Alumni Stadium. All transactions will be done by card, and no cash will be accepted. Once your ticket is scanned, you will not be able to re-enter Alumni Stadium.
 
GAMEDAY PARKING
There will be two paid lots, general parking will be located at the Stadium through the Cold Harbor entrance for $10 and at the First City Complex for $5. Once your vehicle is parked, you will not be allowed to exit and reenter.
 
Free parking will be located at the Cabinet for Human Resources (CHR), there be a shuttle at this location to get spectators from CHR to Alumni Stadium. If you choose to park on campus, all lots will be free and without shuttle service.
If you would like to park at the Tailgate payment and pay on Saturday, October 9, the price will be $50, and if you leave, you will be charged $50 each time you return.
 
Tailgate parking opens at 7 a.m., and general parking opens at 8 a.m. all shuttles will end at 6 p.m. Handicap parking will only be accessible to those with a valid and active placard. Season ticket holders must show their valid placard. If you prepaid, you must show your receipt for entry, and if you have any questions, contact sonia.sanders@kysu.edu.
