CLEVELAND, TN – The Kentucky State University volleyball completed the non-conference portion of its 2018 schedule with a straight-set loss to Lee University Friday, 25-19, 25-16, 25-17.
For the fifth time in six games, senior
Arlandria Greathouse (Crowley, TX) recorded double-figure kills. She finished tied with sophomore
Robin Poole (Katy, TX) for the team lead with 11 kills. It was the second straight match Poole had more than 10 kills.
Sophomore
Amanda Moore (Caddo Mills, TX) distributed the offense with 27 of the team's 31 assists.
Freshman
Alliyah Williams (Sugar Land, TX) finished with 12 digs, marking the 27th time this season she had more than 10 digs. Sophomore
Makayla Martin (Combine, TX) added eight digs.
Kentucky State (19-20) looks to wrap up the regular season at .500 as the Thorobreds host Central State in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. It will mark the final home game for Greathouse,
Brooke Moore and
Cierra Couch. Additionally, the Kentucky State University athletic department will host its Dig Pink event.
