Annual Volleyball Dig Pink Match to take place on Oct. 3

Frankfort, Ky.—Kentucky State University volleyball will be hosting Campbellsville University on Oct 3. at 7 pm ET for the Dig Pink game at the Exum Center.

"We want to welcome all cancer survivors to our match against a tough opponent in Campbellsville University," said head coach Christina Coleman. "Our student-athletes will play in honor of cancer survivors by wearing pink and bringing attention to the match during breast cancer awareness month."

Since Coleman took the reins of the KSU volleyball program in 2012, the Dig Pink game has not only been a staple but an important match on the Thorobrettes' schedule.

Any cancer survivor who plans to attend the match and wishes to be recognized for their fight against the disease is encouraged to get in contact with sports information director Eric Mathews (eric.mathews@kysu.edu) prior to the contest.

Those who want to get involved in the fight against cancer can donate and volunteer their time to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
