Atlanta, Ga.—Kentucky State University football dropped a 14-3 contest on the road to Morehouse College on Saturday afternoon at BT Harvey Stadium.

The Thorobreds (0-2) remain winless on the season but will play their first home game of the season next week against Virginia State University. The Maroon Tigers (2-0) have collected wins in back-to-back weeks to begin their 2016 campaign.

Senior running back
Reginal Harris continued to set the pace for the KSU offense, rushing for 86 yards on 11 attempts, while hauling in three catches for 15 yards. Dating back to 2015, Harris has accumulated over 100 yards of total yards in five straight games.

Senior defensive back
Vincent Edwards picked off his third career interception with a snag late in the second quarter with the Maroon Tigers driving into the KSU red zone. Edwards collected a game-high 10 tackles and a pass break up for the visiting squad.

The lone score for the Thorobreds came in the third quarter, trailing 14-0. An eight play, 55-yard drive highlighted by a 31-yard scamper by Harris, paved the way for senior
Bill Rose to connect on a 28-yard field goal. The KSU defense held MC scoreless in the second half, and only allowed 58 yards of total offense, but the offense couldn't capitalize.
