Reginal Harris scored two touchdowns on four rushes and picked up 67 yards on the ground, while fellow junior running back
Lavelle Cloyd rushed for a team-high 81 yards on four carries, recording his first touchdown of the season.

Travon Spencer led KSU with 11 tackles while sophomore linebacker
Keonte Reynolds added eight and a half tackles with a sack.

The Thorobreds (4-5, 4-2) trailed early in the contest 14-0, but cut the lead to 14-7 after Cloyd busted through the line to pick up a monstrous 66-yard touchdown with 0:49 remaining in the first half. The scamper by Cloyd was the longest of his collegiate career.

Lane scored quickly into the second half following a 44-yard touchdown run from sophomore quarterback Marcus Reynolds to extend its lead over the home squad 21-7. KSU answered quickly with Harris rushing for his first score of the game to cut Lane's lead to 21-14 midway through the third quarter. The score marked his third rushing touchdown of the season.

Halfway through the fourth quarter, and KSU trailing 28-14, the Thorobreds entered the red zone. A fumble from freshman quarterback
Jules St. Ge was returned for a touchdown to further the Dragons' lead at 35-14 with 7:47 remaining in the contest.

Harris added his second touchdown of the afternoon off a 6-yard rush with 1:35 remaining to make the score 35-21 to end the game.
