Wilmore, Ky.—Following a more than two-week hiatus, Kentucky State University volleyball returned to form with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-20) sweep of Asbury University on Thursday night at the Luce Center.
Momentum was fully on the Thorobrettes (15-15, 10-4) side as they controlled the match from beginning to end, defeating the Eagles in their return match, after dropping an early season contest 3-1 at the Exum Center on Sept. 17. The Thorobrettes last competed on Oct. 13, in a 3-0 loss to the University of the Cumberlands, and hadn't picked up a win since the SIAC West Cluster at Tuskegee on October 8.

Anjelique Kyle notched her team-leading 12th double-double of the season with 32 assists and 10 digs. Senior outside hitter
Tahje Ochs picked up her fourth double-double, recording a team-high 10 kills on 27 total attacks and 11 digs. Senior libero
Micah Rogers led the visiting squad with 16 digs.
KSU will celebrate senior night on Friday against Berea College at Bell Gym, and all eight will be honored before the start of the match. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
