Box Score 2 Rensselaer, Ind.—Kentucky State University volleyball dropped matches against Saint Joseph's College and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday.

The Thorobrettes (12-10) lost all three matches of the Saint Joseph's College tri-match over the last two days. KSU will now look to Monday as they will host Campbellsville University in the "Dig Pink" match at the Exum Center. The Thorobrettes will be wearing pink to honor those who have fought the disease. All cancer survivors are encouraged to attend the match and those in attendance who wish to be recognized for their fighting spirit are encouraged to get in contact with the KSU sports information office (502) 597-5683.

Payton Richardson sparked the Thorobrettes' offense totaling 11 kills and four blocks. Senior setter
Anjelique Kyle was a premier table-setter for the defending SIAC champions, recording 30 assists in the match.

KSU played closely throughout with SJC, splitting the first two sets and taking momentum into the third set. But the Pumas proved to be too much in the third set and scrapped by in the fourth and final set.

UWP 3 KSU 0 (12-25, 18-25, 19-25)

UWP started out strong against KSU, never trailing in the opening set taking a 1-0 lead. KSU jumped out early in the second set notching a 7-2 lead, but the Rangers went on a 16-4 run and pulled away in the second set to a 25-18 win. UWP repeated its success from the first set, never trailing in the third and final set.
