LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky State cross country teams competed against a strong field at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday.
Austin Dillow was Kentucky State's top finisher in the men's race, covering the eight kilometer course in 29:05 and finishing 174
th in the competitive field. Teammate Isiaiah Carrero followed in 29:55, placing 232
nd.
Alexander Kincaid crossed the line in 30:01 and 242
nd place, while
Jacobi Reed finished in 31:20 and 289
th place, with
Ronald Williams finishing 310th in 32:14.
Spencer Head of Dalton State was the top finisher in the division, crossing in 25:10. Campbellsville was the team champion of the division, edging out second place Berea by two points.
On the women's side, Kentucky State had two runners finish as individuals.
Joy Hearn finished in 247th place in a time of 22:20, while
Vinsetta Covington was 356th with a time of 28:11.
Stephanie Johnston of Concordia was the top women's runner in a time of 18:39, while Alabama State took the women's team title.
