FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State will host the first SIAC West Division Volleyball Cluster of the 2014 season on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13, at the Exum Center. Seven teams, including the Thorobrettes, from the SIAC West Division will play a total of 14 matches over the two-day tournament to begin conference play this season.
Day one of the SIAC West Division Cluster will begin at 8 a.m. with LeMoyne-Owen facing off against SIAC newcomer Spring Hill on court one and Miles matching up with Lane on court two. Kentucky State will begin its quest for its fourth SIAC Championship in the last five years with a match against Stillman at 10 a.m. on court one.
The Thorobrettes will then take on Spring Hill at 2 p.m. before playing their third and final match of the opening day of the tournament against Miles at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, the second and final day of the tournament, Kentucky State will play in three of the four total matches beginning with an 8 a.m. matchup against Tuskegee. After Stillman and LeMoyne-Owen finish their 10 a.m. match, KSU will take on Lane at noon before wrapping up the tournament with a match against LeMoyne-Owen at 2 p.m.
