FRANKFORT, Ky. – Coming off a tough 26-21 loss to SIAC West Division leader Stillman College, the Kentucky State football team will be looking to bounce back this week.

On Saturday, Oct. 5, the football team will take on non-conference opponent Alderson-Broaddus College at 1 p.m. in their second home game of the season. The Thorobreds enter Saturdays contest with a 2-2 overall record, 1-1 in SIAC games.

This weekend's game is the "Take A Kid to the Game" day and will give kids the opportunity to come cheer on the Thorobreds free of charge. All kids under the age of 12 will receive one complimentary ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The game will also double as the annual "Sideline Cancer Game" which aims to raise awareness about cancer treatment and fundraising.
