Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Atlanta, GA—Stillman College senior middle blocker Lashaunda Spurgeon was named the SIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the week, the conference announced today. Stillman College senior Cynteria Jones, a middle hitter, was named SIAC Defensive Player of the Week and Kentucky State senior Jasmine McQueen was named Defensive Specialist of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week
The native of Albertville, AL, Spurgeon, had 30 kills and 12 service aces for the Lady Tigers during the Rust Invitational Tournament last week. She also had 15 digs and 10 blocks.

Defensive Player of the Week
Cynteria Jones is a senior from Dadeville, AL. One of the best all-around players in the conference, Jones compiled one ace, six digs, and 11 total blocks during last week's Rust Invitational Tournament. She also posted 26 kills offensively.

Specialist of the Week
The Covington, KY native is the floor general for the Thorobrettes volleyball team. Last week, McQueen paced Kentucky State in matches against Cedarville and West Liberty, amassing 18 digs, two assists, one block and four kills.

The junior from Enterprise, AL had 36 assists, two aces, and 22 digs for Stillman College last week.

Emily Grieshaber, Sophomore, Kentucky State University
In matches against West Liberty and Cedarville, Grieshaber had seven kills on 39 attacks. She also had two assists on ten set attempts.
